How the local reading works
The browser uses Web Crypto, rejection sampling and Fisher–Yates shuffling for the full 78-card deck. Orientations are fixed when the question is sealed. The tool does not silently use weaker randomness when secure randomness is unavailable.
Shuffle gestures provide rhythm and touch; animation does not repeatedly rewrite the underlying deck. The three-pile cut really reorders it. Once three cards are confirmed, they remain fixed.
The Chinese narrative combines positions, orientations, relational signals, elements and question context using fixed rules. It does not add three cards into a fortune score. Stored sessions preserve the draw and versions for reopening.
The localized reading uses the same draw and translated upright or reversed meanings at root, present core and possible direction. It offers a bounded reflection and practical review step, not full semantic equivalence with the Chinese question parser.
Local results and notes stay on the device. AI, when supported and separately consented to, is a distinct answer using the fixed cards. It does not replace them. Private sessions use local readings only. See privacy for remote retention and consent details.
Use the reading to examine assumptions. Do not substitute it for evidence, professional judgment or immediate safety support.
