Upright and reversed cards

Upright commonly means a theme is more directly visible or usable. Strength may suggest patience and self-regulation; it does not promise an easy outcome.

Reversed does not mean disaster. A theme can be blocked, excessive, insufficient, delayed, internalized, distorted or beginning to loosen. The actual meaning depends on the particular card, not orientation alone.

Read the position and whole spread together. A resource can become an obstacle when overused. Apparently contradictory cards may describe inner expectations and outer conditions at different levels.

End with something observable and adjustable. Ask how to use a resource or reduce a risk. If a reading increases fear without a testable direction, stop and return to reliable information and support.
